BOOK your next adventure The following rules and regulations were devised in an effort to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. We here at the Spirit of the Suwannee, staff and campers alike, love our park. We believe firmly in a “Tread Lightly” policy, and have instated these policies in order to promote a safe and enjoyable stay with us. Please keep in mind that these regulations were designed to minimize accidents, injuries, and the deterioration of our park and the surrounding areas. All vehicles utilized within the Spirit of the Suwannee are subject to the following rules and regulations. Violations of this policy may result in suspension of cart or membership privileges, ejection from park, or legal recourse. We wish to continue the tradition of “carting at the park”, but it can only work if we all drive carefully and conduct ourselves responsibly. Management reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations at any time, without notice.
Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park® Golf Cart PolicyThis Policy applies to any person who brings or operates any golf cart on the premises, regardless of whether or not the person/operator owns the cart, rented the cart, or borrowed the cart.All persons who operate a golf cart within the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park ® are legally required to adhere to the requirements of this Policy. In addition, this Policy applies to golf carts brought into the Park by any person, including but not limited to, guests, contractors, vendors, Park members, and Park staff. Nothing in this Policy is intended to grant of permission to bring a Golf Cart onto the Premises.ONLY THE FOLLOWING GOLF CARTS ARE ALLOWED:
Gas/Electric golf carts with stock engines (factory specifications). Engine size is stamped on the motor. No engine may exceed 14 horsepower (HP).
1. E-Z Go ®: 295 CC & 350 CC2. Club ®: 290 CC & 350 CC3. Yamaha ®: 357 CCGolf cart with a maximum lift of 4” – 8”.
Golf carts with a maximum tire size of 23’ x 11’ x 12’.
Golf carts must be equipped with stock mufflers or the equivalent (not to exceed noise level of a stock muffler).
THE FOLLOWING VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK:All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), Off-Road Utility Vehicles (ORV’s) or Recreational Utility Vehicles (RUV’s). This includes, but is not limited to, Polaris Ranger ®, Polaris RZR ®, Yamaha Rhino ®, Kawasaki Mule®, and any other non-golf cart utility vehicle.
Dirt bikes or motorized scooters.
Go carts or dune buggies.
ATV’s, dirt bikes and go-carts may not be brought in on trailers or in the back of trucks.
Battery operated riding toys.
Hoverboards.Prices and Fees: In order to bring your golf cart into the Park, upon entry you must show current proof of golf cart liability insurance with
minimum policy limits of $25,000 personal injury/$50,000 per accident/$10,000 property damage (either a stand-alone golf cart policy or a rider on your homeowner’s insurance policy or automobile insurance policy) and pay a user fee.
Non-event trail use fee is $30.00. The fee is valid for the duration of your stay.
Holiday weekend trail use fee is $60.00. The fee is valid for the duration of your stay.
Event weekend trail use fee varies from event to event. The fee is valid for the duration of your stay. Golf carts may be prohibited at some music festivals or other events. Before planning to bring a golf cart to an event, please call the Park Office to make sure if you can bring a cart.
Restrictions on Golf Cart Operation:You may not engage in any activity that is not covered by your golf cart liability insurance policy such as racing, pulling or pushing other vehicles, or carrying too many passengers.
Operators must have a valid driver’s license in their possession when operating a golf cart and be sober.
You must follow the “rules of the road” applicable to vehicles on public roads: for example, stopping at stop signs; not texting while driving; not operating carelessly, recklessly or under the influence of alcohol or drugs; and burning headlights and taillights when driving between dusk and dawn.
One passenger per seat: all occupants must remain seated at all times. All hands and feet must be kept inside the vehicle. No texting while driving a golf cart!
The speed limit on paved roads is 10 MPH, but slow down to 5 MPH or less in congested areas and on trails.
You must park your golf cart at your cabin or campsite from midnight and 6 a.m (local time): golf cart operation is not allowed during that curfew period. However during festivals and special events the curfew is from 2:30 a.m. until 6 a.m. (local time).
You must stay on paved roads and established dirt roads or vehicle trails at all times.
Horses have the right-of-way. When meeting a horse on the trail, pull over, cut the engine and let the horse pass. When approaching horses from behind, call out to the riders to let them know you are there and wait for the riders to signal when it is safe for you to pass.
Park registration decal must be prominently displayed on the golf cart windshield at all times.
Do not leave the key in the golf cart ignition; and lock the cart with a chain and lock when not in use.
All accidents involving injury, death or property damage must be reported to the Park Office as soon as possible; if medical attention is needed call 911 immediately.
No amplified music may be played during any outdoor musical performance in the Park or between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.(local time). During other hours, amplified music must be kept on a low volume such that only the driver and passengers may enjoy it and that it does not disturb other persons.
Golf carts may not be brought into music venues or restricted areas except as authorized in writing by Park management. Guests may not bring golf carts into music venues during special events; if you need a mobility accommodation to get to a venue, an ADA shuttle will be provided upon request.

ome pets (dogs and cats only) may be allowed. Upon check-in, proof of current rabies vaccination is required for all pets. All pets must wear an ID tag with the owner’s name. Pets should never be left alone. Pets may be walked but must be controlled on a leash no longer than six (6) feet. You must pick up your pet’s droppings and dispose of them properly. Excessive barking or aggressive conduct will require removing the animal from the Park immediately. Pets are not allowed during special events and festivals. Service animals are allowed in public areas of the Park whenever the Park is open; however, all service dogs must be leased or under the owner’s control at all times and must display proof of current rabies vaccination.
NO PETS ALLOWED DURING MUSIC FESTIVALS During music festivals at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground, dogs and other pets create problems. Accordingly, the Park rules prohibit pets. Next time you plan to visit Spirit of the Suwannee for a music festival or special event, please DO NOT BRING YOUR PET! You will either be refused entry to the Park or leave without a refund if you and your pet are found. If you have a legal service dog, you are welcome to bring it so long as it wears a tag showing it has a recent, active, anti-rabies vaccination. You must also check your service dog in when you arrive at the Park so it can be properly credentialed.
Pets are to be on a leash when not in a camper or in pet-friendly cabins.
Pets are to be cleaned up after at all times.
When staying in pet-friendly cabins, there is an additional pet fee of $25 a day per pet.
If the pet causes any damage while staying in a pet-friendly cabin, there will be a minimum of $200.00 damage fee applied to the customer’s credit card to cover clean-up and/or damage.
If a pet is found in a non-pet designated cabin, the owner will be automatically charged $200.00 fine even if no apparent damage has been done. (Costs for additional furniture cleaning and flea issues.)

CORNETT’S SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE, INC. SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK CAMPGROUND RULES These rules are a contract between the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park ®, its employees, members and guests, and control the duties and responsibilities of all guests. §513.117, Fla. Stat. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times and all are responsible for following the rules. Non-compliance may result in immediate ejection from the premises, which may involve law enforcement officer assistance, possible arrest, civil or criminal actions or permanent ejection. §513.13, 513.118, Fla. Stat.
ADMISSIONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Guests must check in with the Park Office or Gate Attendant upon first arrival, and pay an admission fee (additional fees apply for overnight stay, activities, services, and events): admission to the Park is conditioned upon each Guest reading, and agreeing to the Warning Notice, Release, Hold Harmless, Waiver of Liability and Covenant Not to Sue (or, in the case of a Guest under the age of 18 the minor Guest’s parent or legal guardian doing so on behalf of each minor Guest.) You may be required to display a vehicle pass or sticker on your vehicle.
All vehicles, golf carts and bicycles are subject to search upon entry, and at all times while in the Park. If you do not consent to a search, then do not enter the premises.
TRANSPORTATION RULES AND REGULATIONS
ALWAYS yield to pedestrians – they have the right of way! The maximum speed on paved roads is 10 miles per hour, and on dirt roads and in camping areas is 5 miles per hour for all vehicles, golf carts, bicycles or other means of transport. | If children are present, use extreme caution.
All motor vehicles must be properly licensed and insured. All operators must be over age 16, properly licensed and insured. We will refuse entry to any motor vehicle in our sole discretion.
All existing traffic laws of the State of Florida apply in the Park including, but not limited to, driving under the influence or “DUI” and open container laws. DUI is not tolerated – You may be arrested by law enforcement officials and taken to jail if you are observed to be driving under the influence whether operating a vehicle, golf cart, bicycle, or automobile you may be driving. Texting while driving is prohibited regardless of the means of transportation.
Park in designated areas only. Do not park on any roadway or in a camping space that you have not rented. Parking in designated disabled parking spaces requires display of a valid State-issued disabled credential. All parked vehicles should be a minimum of two feet away from paved and unpaved roadways, The Park is a designated “TOW AWAY” zone: if you park in a prohibited area, your vehicle may be towed at your expense. §715.07, Fla. Stat.
Warning signals (car horns, bells, sirens) must be used for safety purposes only.
No excessively loud amplified music may be played from any vehicle, golf cart or bicycle from 11 PM to 8 AM local time. 2 | P a g e
GOLF CARTS
Operators must adhere to the Park’s Golf Cart Policy (available at www.musicliveshere or in the Park Office); the Policy applies to all golf carts on the premises, whether rented at the County Store or brought on site. Violation of the Golf Cart policy is a violation of the Park’s rules. The following restrictions also apply: (1) If brought onto the premises, proof of ownership and insurance are required, the cart must pass inspection, the trail fee must be paid, and the Park-issued credential displayed. (2) Operation restricted to guests listed on the forms, with a valid driver’s license, over age 16. (3) Design capacity may not be exceeded. (4) Guest must remain properly seated while in operation with legs, feet and hands in the cart.. (5) Head/tail lights burned from dusk until dawn, in fog or smoke. (6) Hours of operation limited to 7 A.M until Midnight. (7) No reckless operation. (8) Carts allowed on paved and dirt roads only.
During special events and festivals, special golf cart rules may be in place and golf carts are not allowed in music venue areas or other areas designated by sign or verbal direction of Park staff.
Golf carts are not an approved personal mobility device for persons with disabilities.
BICYCLES
Bicycles operated from between dusk and dawn must burn front and taillights. Children under the age of 16 must wear a helmet. §316.2065, Fla. Stat. Bicycles subject to 10 MPH speed limit. All riders advised to wear helmets, bright/reflective clothing, and sturdy footware.
HORSES
Horses are welcome in the Park’s horse camping area and on marked horse trail areas, with advance reservations (except during festivals and special events). Horse owners must check in and present proof of a negative Coggins test, along with other required health certifications. Horses are not allowed on roadways, in camping areas, or anywhere outside of the horse camping areas and marked horse trails. No riding at night. A horse that kicks must be identified by a RED ribbon tied on its tail. No “tie outs” are allowed. Horse camping rules are posted at www.musicliveshere.com or available in the Park Office.
PROHIBITED MEANS OF TRANSPORT
The following are expressly prohibited: all-terrain vehicles (ATV’s), off-road utility vehicles (ORV’s), recreational utility vehicles (RUV’s), electric or motorized scooters, dirt or motocross bikes, unicycles, roller skates, electric skates, skateboards, self-balancing scooters, electric skateboards, balance wheels, hoverboards, solowheels, orbitwheels, Yikebikes, Rynos, Aero X-bikes, Honda Ubi Ones, Walkcars, Car e-bikes, Segways, one-wheels, motorized furniture, pogo sticks, monster trucks, semi-tractor trailer trucks unless making an authorized delivery, go carts, hot air ballons, powered hanggliders, and dune buggies. Park management retains the absolute right to deny use of any means of transport on the premises.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
Recreational Vehicles or “RVs” are permitted in designated spaces with improved water/electric and primitive sites. All vehicles must be parked on the campsite, and not on roads or other campsites. Only one RV is allowed per campsite. Water is not to be used for washing RVs, cars or boats. Campsites must be kept clean, and trash and refuse regularly placed in trash containers. Please do not leave food out where animals and insects can get it. All RVs that connect to the sewage system must use a “donut” to seal the sewer hose to the sewage system line. All sewer connections must be kept tightly capped when not in use. Paid RV campers may use the dump station. Any spills of sewage must be reported 3 | P a g e
immediately to the Office. Do not remove the backflow prevention devices from the potable water lines. Do not alter, even temporarily, any RV site electrical connections. Electricity may not be shared with another campsite.
CAMPING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Improved (water/electric) spaces and primitive sites are available for reservation throughout the calendar year with certain restrictions during special events/festivals. A posted, special area is set aside for Park members only. All non-member reservations must be paid in advance at the time of the reservation. Although each reservation contains a site number, this does not guarantee use of any specific site: actual sites will be assigned upon arrival, and site selection is subject to Park’s sole discretion.
The Park has a variety of cabins (park models), pavilions, and buildings available for rent. Prices vary by type, season and whether or not a special event is scheduled. Check out time is 11:00 A.M. A key deposit is required, which will be refunded at checkout. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in all cabins and other Park structures; there is a $100 cleaning fee if anyone has smoked in your cabin during the rental. Do not remove towels or furniture from cabins for outdoor use. All non-member reservations must be paid in advance at the time of the reservation. Although each reservation contains a site number, this does not guarantee use of any specific site.. Actual sites will be assigned upon arrival, and site selection is subject to Park absolute discretion.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Except during special events, we apply a cancellation and refund policy for paid, advance camping reservations. If cancelled more than fourteen (14) days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel between fourteen (14) and three (3) days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Failure to cancel at least three (3) days prior to the first night’s stay will result in no refund. Most cabins do not allow pets: violation of this prohibition will result in an additional $200.00 cleaning fee plus $25.00 per day payable when pet is observed in cabin.

A maximum of 6 persons are allowed as overnight registered users per camping space.
No camping is allowed on the disc golf course.
Campsites must be kept clean, and trash and refuse regularly placed in trash containers present throughout the campgrounds. Do not leave food out where animals and insects can get it. At Prior to check-out, all campers are responsible for cleaning all trash and belongings from the campsite. Large items such as tents, air mattresses, pillows, blankets, chairs, and tables are not allowed to be disposed of in campground trash cans or left behind in the campsite or cabin.
Several bathhouses are provided for campers. We need your help to maintain these facilities in a clean, sanitary condition. If the bathhouse is dirty or lacks required soap, toilet tissue and paper towels, please notify the Office immediately. Do not flush sanitary napkins, diapers, paper towels or other large objects down the toilet. Please conserve water. 4 | P a g e
ENJOYING THE PARK
The Park provides an incredible opportunity to enjoy Mother Nnature. Please not harm plants or harass animals. Do not place any nail, screw or other fastener into any tree, or cut any vegetation. Do not litter.
Do not smoke or vaporize (“vape”) in buildings including rental cabins; and be respectful of others when you smoke or vape. Place properly extinguished cigarette butts in ashtrays.
The Park maintains a quiet time between 11 P.M. and 8 A.M.. This applies to speakers on golf carts and cabins, or any modification on a vehicle’s exhaust system to amplify sound. Please respect other guests by not passing through their campsites.
Picnic tables are provided at some spaces, please keep them clean and free of clutter when not in active use.
A disc golf course, children’s playground, hiking trails, picnic tables and other amenities are available on a first come, first serve basis; please share them with other guests and help keep them clean and free of clutter.
Guests must stay out of areas posted as closed.
CAMPFIRES
If weather and other prevailing conditions are acceptable to the Park, properly contained campfires are permitted in enclosed fire rings or in small dirt fire pits. No bonfires or large fire pits allowed. To avoid fire hazard risks, please place the firepit in a clear area and away from any brush. Additionally, be mindful of the Spanish moss. Do not collect, or cut, live trees or shrubs. Do not burn treated wood, plastic, garbage or trash. If you do not bother other guests, you may collect downed tree limbs from nearby areas. Fires must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished before leaving unattended. Never use gasoline, kerosene or other accelerants to start fires. Firewood and fire starters are available at the Country Store.
ANIMALS
Some pets (dogs and cats only) may be allowed. Any dog designated as a “dangerous dog” under 767.12, Fla. Stat. is not allowed on the premises. Upon check-in, proof of current anti-rabies vaccination, payment of any applicable fee, and execution of a pet waiver is required for all pets. All pets must wear an ID tag with the owner’s name and phone number. Pets should never be left alone. All pets must be kept under control on a leash no longer than six (6) feet at all times. You must pick up your pet’s droppings and dispose of them properly. Excessive barking, aggressive conduct, or failure to keep the animal on a leash will require you to immediately remove the animal from the premises.
Legitimate service dogs or miniture horses are allowed whenever the Park is open to the public for a person with a disability per 413.08, Fla. Stat. Service animals must be either leashed or under the owner’s control at all times, and must display proof of a current anti-rabies vaccination. It is a crime to misrepresent a service animial or the need for a service animal. 413.08(9), Fla. Stat.
“Emotional support animals” as defined in 760.27(1)(a), Fla. Stat. are not allowed on the premises and are not considered to be “service animals.”

The Park provides several opportunities to engage in water-based activities during a Guest’s stay. At all times, Guests are required to use judgment and behave appropriately and safely when around bodies of water. All swimming or entry into water is at Guest’s own risk.
SWIMMING POOL
Next to the Spirit Café, there is a small pool. No lifeguard is on duty. You may swim at your own risk, after getting a pool pass at the Park Office. Children must be potty trained and accompanied at all times by an adult. No diving or roughhousing. You must shower before entering the pool. No glass allowed in the pool area. No towels may be brought from Park Cabins.
REES LAKE
No entry and no swimming at any time.
SUWANNEE RIVER
The river is not Park property. All persons entering the River from Park property do so at their own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Do not swim across the river to private property, climb on the bank or use any rope swing – all very dangerous. Do not remove towels from cabins and take them to the river. The Park may allow a concessionaire to operate a canoe/kayak livery service; all persons using such service are subject to the terms and conditions of the operator. The Suwannee River is dangerous and unpredictable and contains floating and submerged objects. A private boat ramp is located near the end of River Road and may only be used by authorized persons; however, no airboats, jet boats, or personal watercraft may be launched by any person.
FOOD AND DINING
The Park has a full-service restaurant – the Spirit Café – with full liquor bar, indoor and outdoor seating, take out, and excellent service. The hours are seasonal – call the Park Office for availability. A variety of drinks, snacks and groceries are available at the Park’s County Store. Drink vending machines are located outside the front of the County Store.
During special events/festivals, food and beverges are available from concessionaires.
Campers are permitted to cook and grill their own food on personal grills or grills provided.. To avoid fire hazard risks, please place the grill/firepit in a clear area and away from any brush. Guests are not permitted at any time to sell any food or beverages to other guests.
OUTSIDE DELIVERY/TRANSIT SERVICES
Except during festivals and special events, Guests may have specific goods and services provided to them in the Park, specifically: Publix, Wal Mart, Uber, Lyft, Taxi, DoorDash. Guests are responsible for coordinating with the delivery service and any lost/stolen items are not the responsibility of the Park.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are expressly prohibited at all times:
Illegal drugs.
Possession of prescription drugs except by the patient identified in the original pharmacy container. 6 | P a g e
Possession or use of medical marijuana except as authorized by 381.986, Fla. Stat.
Fireworks of any kind.
Guns, Tasers, slingshots, pellet/dart/BB Guns, paintball guns, bows and arrows and all weapons are strictly prohibited on Park property including weapons carried in motor vehicles (even if you have a concealed weapons permit). ONLY properly- authorized law enforcement and security personnel may carry weapons when on duty.
Any type of aircraft, drone, radio-controlled airplane or helicopter, kite, Chinese lantern, luminary, sky lantern, fire balloon, Kongming lantern, balloon, or other flying object; except that Frisbees, footballs, and other similar toys may be used when they do not present a danger or nuisance to other guests. (Discs may be used on the disc golf course).
Lasers of any type.
Bounce houses, slip n’ slides, portable swimming pools or other recreational attractions.
Signs, flags, banners or other visible expressions of political, hate, or commercial speech such as campaign signs, Nazi flags, Confederate Flags, Black Power flags, or other expressions that may incite aggressive behavior. However, a vehicle is allowed to display one or two bumper stickers that express political or commercial speech; and guests are allowed to wear a shirt or jacket that expresses political or commercial speech (e.g. “so and so for king” or “Coke is It”) so long such apparel is not obscene, vulgar, or profane.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are expressly prohibited at all times:
The posting or distribution of any advertising or literature; or the sale, distribution or solicitation of any product or service is prohibited.
No lewdness, nudity or obscene gestures or speech.
Brawling, fighting, threatening speech or gestures.
No commercial services may be ordered by any guest to be performed on the premises. Check with the Park Office if you need a locksmith, tow truck, or other service. Medical Marijuana: Florida residents ONLY with a valid MMUR identification card may use their medicine under the following conditions: the medicine must be in the original packaging, must be used at the guest’s camp out of plain view, may not be used in a vehicle or public place, may not be possessed in more than four (4) ounces, and may not be shared with others. Florida does not recognize out-of-state prescriptions or use by non-residents except pursuant to 381.986, Fla. Stat..
Fire spinning or twirling unless authorized by management with a signed Waiver/Release Form as part of a supervised special event/festival performance.
CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS
If you enter the Park, you consent to the recording, publication and use of your likeness, and/or voice on videotape, on film, or digital video disc, or other means, without compensation to you, or a signed release from you, for the Park’s commercial and marketing use forever and anywhere. Guests are advised that audio/video recording devices are in use at all times

If you are injured, you must promptly report such injury to the Park Office in person or by phone. If you lose something, please check at the Park Office. If your personal property has identification with your address and contact information, we will try to contact you to have you claim it. Any property unclaimed after 90 days becomes the Park’s property. §513.115, Fla. Stat. If WI-FI service is offered, use is subject to the Park’s sole discretion.

RULES DURING FESTIVALS/SPECIAL EVENTS Special Event and Festival guests are subject to, without limitation, the following additional or modified campground rules:
ADMISSIONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Guests must enter only at the designated entrance: either the main gate checkpoint located on Highway U.S. 129 across the road from the Agricultural Inspection Station, or the Festival entrance on County Road 132 (9379) whether the guest enters by vehicle, golf cart, bicycle or on foot. Guests will be directed to which entrance is open by illuminated signage along Highway U.S. 129.
Special event guests must present a ticket, along with a valid photo-identification and wear a non-transferable wristband for the duration of the event. Additional camping fees may apply depending upon your arrival and departure dates, and where you camp. Guests, vehicles and campsites are subject to search at all times. Guests gaining entry to the premises during a special event/music festival are bound by the terms of the ticket purchase license agreement. No refund for lost or stolen tickets or wristbands; no refund for unused tickets. All tickets are non-refundable and do not bear any cash value. Once issued to the ticket-bearer, wristbands and complementary ticket are not transferable to another person. Tickets/wristbands may denote different levels of access/benefits, such as “All Access,” “VIP,” “GA+,”, “Staff,” and “3-Day” or “4-Day,” etc. All Artists, and Performance dates/times are subject to change/cancellation without notice to guest or refund. All performances are “rain or shine.”
Admission to the Park is conditioned upon each special event guest, regardless of whether they are the initial purchaser of the ticket, reading and agreeing to the Warning Notice, Release, Hold Harmless, Waiver of Liability and Covenant Not to Sue (“Waiver”) (or, in the case of a Guest under the age of 18, the minor Guest’s parent or legal guardian doing so on behalf of each minor Guest) to be lawfully admitted to the event. There are no exceptions. You may save time by completing the Waiver in Advance by downloading the Waiver, printing it or showing the completed Waiver Form to the Customer Service Representative when you arrive on site. You must also present a valid photo ID. Additional information about our Waiver policy can be found at musicliveshere.com.
If the ticket purchaser fails to get the waiver signed by his/her members, the ticket purchaser agrees to be liable for their members conduct and any injury to the member that may occur. In addition, the ticket 8 | P a g e
buyer agrees to indemnify Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. and James Cornett for any and all claims, damages, judgments, attorney fees and costs resulting from the failure to get waivers signed by all members of the ticket buyers party. Any person on the premises without having signed a Waiver is considered to be trespassing.
TRANSPORTATION RULES AND REGULATIONS
All Golf carts may not be operated later than one-hour after the end of the last scheduled concert each day (e.g. if the show ends at 1 A.M, then the curfew is 2 A.M.). Trail fees during special events are non-refundable. Guest-operated golf carts are not allowed in any venue area.
Horses not allowed at any time during a special event/ festival.
Shuttle service may be offered by Park or Promoter during some events; if you decide to ride a shuttle, you assume all risk of injury/death/property damage; and you must remain seated at all times.
Guests may not block any part of any road with vehicles, camping equipment, or other objects.
All vehicles, or other means of transport are subject to search at any time. Guests must yield the right of way to Park staff, EMS, Law Enforcement or other emergency vehicles.
Parking in a designated disabled parking space requires display of a valid disabled credential issued by a state authority. This credential does NOT take the place of a car pass to allow the vehicle entry into the Park. Car passes are required for all events and are non-refundable.
At some events, disabled guests are issued a special wristband or other credential that entitles only the guest (and one companion) to park or camp in designated areas. Persons who park in such areas without the credential may be towed at their own expense. 715.07, Fla. Stat. Golf carts are not considered to be personal mobility devices. Mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs, and wheelchairs are authorized for persons with disabilities. An ADA shuttle service may be provided: check with the Park Office.
CABIN AND FACILITY RENTALS
During special events, improved camping fees, trail fees, car passes, and campsite fees are non-refundable. Guests purchasing a single-day event ticket are not allowed in any camping area. Members who have made reservations for any day that is included in a special event, must purchase tickets for the event no later than 30 days prior to the start of the event or the reservation is void. All cabin and facility fees are non-refundable. Guests purchasing a single-day ticket are not allowed in any cabin at any time.
ENJOYING THE PARK
During festivals, the normal quiet camping hours (11 P.M. – 8 A.M.) are not applicable. Amplified music that is part of the programmed entertainment typically lasts until near 2 A.M. and non-programmed entertainment such as pickin’ parties and drum circles in camping areas often last after 2 A.M. Management reserves the right to limit all non-programmed entertainment and to control all noise at any time or place.
Guests are advised that they may be exposed to extended periods of loud amplified sounds and are advised to wear hearing protection or to take other self-protection measures to limit overall sound exposure.
Amplified music including dj sets in any area or campground is prohibited. All non-programmed, amplified music without prior express written permission from the Park is prohibited. Park may direct 9 | P a g e
guests to cease and desist entertainment and/or promptly eject all guests attending the non-programmed entertainment immediately without refund at management’s sole discretion.
CAMPGROUNDS
Do not attempt to save space for others outside of your campsite. The amount of space allowed to be reserved is equal to or less than 10X10 feet per person present at the campsite on the first day music begins for the event. Guests may not establish private camps and charge other guests a fee to camp.
No running water or electricity may be shared with other campsites (no cords or hoses off your site). If you did not reserve a water/electric site, then you may not use water/electricity. No guest may charge any other person a fee for reserved space, utilities, private portable toilets, entertainment or any other service. Issuing any type of credential that purports to grant a guest any good or service not available to all other guests is prohibited.
Management/security has the right to enter all camping areas at any time and to search any person, campsite or vehicle.
ANIMALS
Pets may not be allowed on the premises during some special events/festivals. A separate pet fee may be charged during some special events/festivals to allow for a dog to be brought onto the property so long as the fee is paid, the dog/owner signs a pet waiver and displays the official credential along with a current anti-rabies vaccination tag, is kept on a leash, and is not allowed in music venues, food service areas, or inside buildings. A legitimate service animal is not subject to a pet fee, but must be registered upon entry; must wear the festival credentials at all times, along with proof of a current anti-rabies vaccination; and be under the control of the owner at all times. Guests are reminded that loud noises including but not limited to the sound of fireworks and pyrotechnics will be a regular occurrence during events, and may cause the animal to be scared to the point of bodily injury or running away. The Park is not responsible for any bodily injury to a guest’s animal or responsible for finding any animal lost on park property.
VENUE AREAS
During special events/festivals, performance/venue areas are delineated. Guests are required to pass through checkpoints, adhere to any clear-bag policy that may be in effect, display wristbands or other credentials, be screened by security (which may involve use of metal detectors, pat downs, search of all persons and bags, use of K-9 animals). Guests are not allowed to bring outside food or drink into venue areas (there may be an exception for one unopened plastic water bottle).
PROHIBITED ITEMS IN VENUE AREAS
Spray paint, marking pens, laser devices.
Bicycles, scooters, Segways, skateboards, one-wheels.
Selfie sticks, totems, flagpoles, tripods, drones, kites, inflated balloons, flying objects.
Flammable gases, including but not limited to, nitrous oxide, helium tanks and tear gas.
Guns or simulated guns of any kind, or weapons of any kind.
Commercial cameras, point and shoot cameras, or recording devices of any kind. (Marking this solely for discussion – what’s the goal here? Everyone has a cell phone which is a recording device. I understand 10 | P a g e
eliminating the commercial cameras and point and shoot, but this seems incredibly broad so as to be confusing)
Hammocks, furniture or inflatable furniture and wagons except in designated areas.
Fire spinning, fire twirling or koi, or glow sticks.
Megaphones or other sound amplification devices.
If a guest requires a prescription, then the guest must produce a government-issued photo ID to security along with the medication in the original prescription container with the guest’s name on it, along with the pharmacy and doctor’s names.
ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY
Every guest deserves to feel safe and comfortable. We will NOT tolerate any harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, body size, appearance, age or national origin. If you feel like you’re being harassed, are the victim of nonconsensual touching, or otherwise feel unsafe, please report it to the front office or the nearest staff member. Any guest found to be in violation of this policy will be removed from Park premises and may be banned permanently.
EMERGENCY
In case of an emergency, call 911 or make personal contact with a law enforcement, EMS or security official.
10/6/24 All motor vehicles must be properly licensed and insured. All operators must be over age 16, properly licensed and insured. We will refuse entry to any motor vehicle in our sole discretion. All vehicles are subject to search upon entry, and at all times while in the Park: if you do not consent to a search, then you must leave the Park immediately with no refund. All-terrain vehicles (ATV’s), off-road utility vehicles (ORV’s), recreational utility vehicles (RUV’s), dirt or motocross bikes, go-carts, and dune buggies are not allowed. Driving Under the Influence or “DUI” is not tolerated — You may be arrested by law enforcement officials and taken to jail if you are observed to be DUI in the Park, regardless of the vehicle, golf cart, bicycle, or automobile you may be driving. Texting while driving is strictly prohibited regardless of the vehicle, golf cart, bicycle or other means of transportation. No loud amplified music may be played from any vehicle.Golf carts are a popular and convenient way to get around: operators must adhere to the Park’s Golf Cart Policy. Rentals are available at the Country Store. If you bring your own, you must register your golf cart upon arrival, present proof of registration and insurance, have your cart inspected, pay a trail use fee, and obtain a sticker. Golf cart drivers must be licensed and over age 16. The driver and passengers must be seated at all times during operation and the cart’s seating capacity may not be exceeded. Headlights and taillights must be used from dusk till dawn. Golf carts must stay on designated roads and trails and must be parked at your campsite by Midnight. (During special events golf carts should be parked at your campsite no later than one-hour after the last scheduled concert ends). Trail fees during special events are non-refundable.Bicycles operated from between dusk and dawn must burn front and taillights. Children under the age of 16 must wear a helmet per §316.2065, Fla. Stat.Horses are welcome in the Park’s horse camping area and on marked horse trail areas, with advance reservations. Horse owners must check in and present proof of a negative Coggins test, along with other required health certifications. Horses are not allowed on roadways, in camping areas, or anywhere outside of the horse camping area and marked horse trails. No riding at night. A horse that kicks must be identified by a RED ribbon tied on its tail. No “tie outs” are allowed. See office for details. Horses are not allowed in the Park during special events.Segways, skateboards, and hoverboards are not allowed.Shuttle service may be offered during special events; if you ride the shuttle, you assume all risk of doing so; and you must remain seated when the shuttle is moving.PARKING: You must park vehicles and golf carts in designated areas only. You may not park on any roadway or in camping space that you have not rented. You may only park in a designated disabled parking space if you display a valid disabled license plate or rearview mirror tag. The Park is a designated “TOW AWAY” zone, and if you park in a prohibited area, your vehicle may be towed at your expense. §715.07, Fla. StatCAMPING AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES. Hundreds of improved (water/electric) spaces are available, in addition to thousands of primitive (tent) camping. There is a special area set aside for Park members. Check out time is Noon. A maximum of 6 campers (including children) are allowed per space. Only one RV may be parked per campsite. No camping is allowed on the disc golf course. All vehicles must be parked on the campsite, and not on roads or other campsites. Water is not to be used for washing RV’s, cars or boats. Campsites must be kept clean, and trash and refuse regularly placed in trash containers. Please do not leave food out where animals and insects can get it. All RV’s that connect to the sewage system must use a “donut” to seal the sewer hose to the sewage system line. All sewer connections must be kept tightly capped when not in use. Paid RV campers may use the dump station. The dump station wash down water is not safe for drinking. Any spills of sewage must be reported immediately to the Park Office. Do not remove the backflow prevention devices from the potable water lines. Do not alter, even temporarily, any RV site electrical connections.All non-member reservations must be paid in advance at the time of the reservation. Although each reservation contains a site number, this does not guarantee use of any specific site: actual sites will be assigned upon arrival, and site selection is subject to Park’s sole discretion. Except during special events, we apply a cancellation and refund policy for paid, advance camping reservations. If cancelled more than 14 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel between 14 and 3 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Failure to cancel at least 3 days prior to the first night’s stay will result in no refund. During special events, improved camping fees, trail fees and campsite fees are non-refundable. Guests purchasing a single-day event ticket are not allowed in any camping area. Members who have made reservations for any day that is included in a special event, must purchase tickets for the event no later than 30 days prior to the start of the event or the reservation is void.Several bathhouses are provided for campers. We need your help to maintain these facilities in a clean, sanitary condition. If a bathhouse is dirty or lacks required soap, toilet tissue and paper towels, please notify the Park Office immediately. Do not flush sanitary napkins, diapers, paper towels or other large objects down the toilet. Please help us conserve water.CABIN AND FACILITY RENTALS. The Park has a variety of cabins (park models), pavilions, and buildings available for rent. Prices vary by type, season and whether or not a special event is scheduled. Check out time is 11:00 A.M. A key deposit is required, which will be refunded at checkout. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in all cabins and other Park structures; there is a $100 cleaning fee if anyone has smoked in your cabin during the rental. Do not remove towels or furniture from cabins for outdoor use. All non-member reservations must be paid in advance at the time of the reservation. Although each reservation contains a site number, this does not guarantee use of any specific site within the Park. Actual sites will be assigned upon arrival, and site selection is subject to Park discretion. Except during special events, we apply a cancellation and refund policy for paid, advance camping reservations. If cancelled more than 14 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. Guests purchasing a single-day ticket are not allowed in any cabin.ENJOYING THE PARK: Please respect the environment, and do not harm plants or harass animals. Do not place any nail, screw or other fastener into any tree, or cut any vegetation. Do not litter. Please do not smoke or vaporize (“vape”) in buildings, including rental cabins; and be respectful of others when you light up or vaporize. Place properly extinguished cigarette butts in ashtrays. The Park maintains a quiet time between 11 P.M and 8 A.M. This applies to speakers on golf carts and cabins. During some festivals, jam sessions and drum circles may last until the wee hours with due consideration of those camping nearby. Please respect fellow guests by not passing through their campsites. Picnic tables are provided by the Park at some spaces; please keep them clean and free of clutter when not in active use. During musical and Park-organized fireworks performances, please be advised that you may be exposed to loud sounds, and please take whatever action you deem necessary to protect your hearing. The use of high-quality ear protection is strongly recommended, available at the Country Store.A disc golf course, children’s playground, hiking trails, picnic tables and other amenities are available on a first come, first serve basis; please share them with other guests and help keep them clean and free of clutter.CAMPFIRES: If weather and other prevailing conditions are acceptable to the Park, properly contained campfires are permitted in enclosed fire rings or in small dirt fire pits. No bonfires or large fire pits allowed. Do not collect, or cut, live trees or shrubs. Do not burn treated wood, plastic, garbage or trash. If you do not bother other guests, you may collect downed tree limbs from nearby areas. Fires must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished before leaving unattended. Never use gasoline, kerosene or other accelerants to start fires. Firewood and fire starters are available for purchase at the Country Store.ANIMALS: Some pets (dogs and cats only) may be allowed. Upon check-in, proof of current anti-rabies vaccination is required for all pets. All pets must wear an ID tag with the owner’s name and phone number. Pets should never be left alone. All pets must be kept under control on a leash no longer than six (6) feet at all times. You must pick up your pet’s droppings and dispose of them properly. Excessive barking, aggressive conduct, or failure to keep the animal on a leash will require you to immediately remove the animal from the Park. Pets are not allowed during special events and festivals.Service dogs are allowed in public areas of the Park whenever the Park is open to the public; however, service dogs must be either leashed or under the owner’s control at all times, and must display proof of a current anti-rabies vaccination. “Emotional support animals” are not service dogs. It is a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. During special events and music festivals, service animals must be registered upon entry to the Park and must wear the festival credentials at all times, along with proof of a current anti-rabies vaccination.SWIMMING AND WATERSPORTS: Next to the Spirit Café, there is a small pool. No lifeguard is on duty. You may swim at your own risk, after getting a pool pass at the Park Office. Children must be potty trained and accompanied at all times by an adult. No diving or roughhousing. You must shower before entering the pool. No glass allowed in the pool area. The Suwannee River, which runs along the north and west boundary of the Park is dangerous and unpredictable. Floating logs and debris are common. Swimming is not recommended. No lifeguard is on duty. If you do swim, it is at your own risk. Do not swim across the River to private property, climb on the bank or use any rope swing – all very dangerous and grounds for immediate ejection from the Park. Do not remove towels from cabins and take them to the river or pool. The Canoe Outpost, which is not owned by Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc., offers rental canoes, kayaks, and personal floatation devices. They can offer guided trips or outfit your River trek. All persons using the services of the Canoe Outpost are advised that all activities are at their own risk and that travel on, or swimming in, the Suwannee River is dangerous and unpredictable. To that end, all Canoe Outpost patrons must complete and sign the release, hold harmless and release of liability form. The boat ramp is available for a fee; however, no airboats, jet boats, or personal watercraft may be launched. All water sports are at your own risk.PROHIBITED ITEMS: No illegal drugs. No fireworks of any kind. Guns, Tasers, slingshots, BB Guns, Paintball guns, bows and arrows and all weapons are strictly prohibited on Park property, and that includes weapons carried in motor vehicles (even if you have a concealed weapons permit): ONLY properly- authorized law enforcement and security personnel may carry weapons when on duty. All of the airspace above the Park is restricted and no person is authorized to operate or use any type of aircraft, drone, radio-controlled airplane or helicopter, kite, Chinese lantern, luminary, sky lantern, fire balloon, Kongming lantern, balloon, or other flying object; except that Frisbees, footballs, and other similar toys may be used when they do not present a danger or nuisance to other guests. Of course, flying discs may be used on the disc golf course. Lasers of any type are prohibited. No bounce houses, slip n’ slides, portable swimming pools or other recreational attractions are permitted. No fire spinning or twirling is permitted without a written contract with the Park.PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES: The posting or distribution of any advertising or literature; or the sale, distribution or solicitation of any product or service is only allowed with advance written approval of Park management. No nudity or obscene gestures or speech. No commercial services may be ordered by any guest to be performed in the Park; however, check with the Office if you need a locksmith, tow truck, taxi or Uber, Lyft, or other service.MESSAGES/FIRST AID/ LOST & FOUND: Urgent messages may be available in the Park Office. In case of emergency, call 911 immediately! Report any problem by stopping by the Park Office or by calling the office at (386) 364-1683. EMS/FIRST AID IS AVAILABLE DURING SPECIAL EVENTS. If you are injured while in the Park, you must promptly report such injury to the Park Office in person or by phone. If you lose something, please check at the Park Office. If your personal property has identification with your address and contact information, we will try to contact you to have you claim it. Any property unclaimed after 90 days becomes the Park’s property. §513.115, Fla. Stat. If WI-FI service is offered, use is subject to the Park’s sole discretion.CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS: If you enter the Park, you consent to the recording, publication and use of your likeness, and/or voice on videotape, on film, or digital video disc, or other means, without compensation to you, or a signed release from you, for the Park’s commercial and marketing use forever and anywhere.QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS? No refund will be given on lost or stolen tickets or wristbands or of unused tickets. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Tickets that are lost, stolen, counterfeit or obtained from sources other than Park or any of its ticket outlets will not be honored.
All tickets are non-refundable and do not bear any cash value.
It is unlawful to obtain/attempt to obtain admission by fraud. Any such admissions/attempted admissions will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Wristbands are nontransferable and must be worn by the same person for the entire event.
Vendor, Promoter and Park-issued staff and complimentary tickets are non-transferable when issued.
Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission and/or revoke any ticketed admission without refund.
All guests under age 18 must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
No food or beverages may be brought into the venue areas; however, please check the Festival brochure to see whether or not you may bring in a new, unopened plastic bottle of water or an empty water container. NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the venue areas.
No weapons, laser devices of any kind, drones, model airplanes, fireworks, luminaries, megaphones, or any other items determined dangerous by Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. may be brought into the Park, or in a motor vehicle within the Park.
Management will be allowed into all venue areas and campsites.
All artists and times of performances are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.
No unauthorized commercial video or audio recording or live streaming allowed in venue areas.
Management reserves the right to at its sole discretion to refuse admission to or to eject any person from the premises whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly, vulgar or abusive, and/or who fails to comply with park policies and procedures. Failure to comply will terminate any rights of ticketholder and will be removed from premises.
Ticketholder agrees to comply with all State, local and Park rules that prohibit and limit alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons, controlled substances, recording devices, cameras, pets, and containers being brought into the Park or venue area.
The Park reserves the right to search all persons and vehicles anywhere at any time.
Cancellation of the event by Act of God, strikes, riots, or any other act/order of any public authority beyond the control of Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. does not obligate Management to offer ticket refunds or substitute performance(s).
All outdoor performances are “rain or shine.”
Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. and/or any of its management, officers, directors is not held liable for any personal loss, injury, death, property damage, or any other harm suffered by participants, vendors, lessors, artists, guests, or spectators at any special event.
No advertising signs, posters, banners, balloons or flyers of any kind may be posted or distributed anywhere in the Park.
No goods or services may be offered or sold except by Park-authorized vendors.
No fire spinning, twirling, koi or other use of performance fire is allowed.
No selfie sticks, flagpoles, wookie sticks, totems or other rigid decorations are allowed in venue areas.
No spray paint or paint markers are allowed in the Park.
No flammable gases such as nitrous oxide are allowed in the Park.
No water guns or other simulated or toy weapons are allowed in the Park.
Bicycles and scooters must be parked outside of the venue areas.
No segways or other motorized devices are allowed in the venue areas.
Smoking and vaping only allowed behind soundboard in venue areas.
If hammocks are allowed in venue areas, they must not block pathways or be double stacked. Hammocks can only be tied to suitably strong trees and all ropes, straps and ties must be removed after use.
If chairs are allowed in venue areas, they must be removed at the close of performances each day.
Only disabled guests and a companion may use designated ADA viewing areas.
Additional restrictions may be imposed by posted signs, Festival brochures, or verbal order of Park staff.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
There is a $25.00 processing fee associated with all Cancellations.
Cancellations are subject to a minimum $25.00 cancellation fee from the date that you reserve until 14 days before your 1st day of check-in. Cancelling 13 to 3 days before your 1st day of check-in is a 50% cancellation fee. Canceling 2 days before your 1st day of check-in, your reservation is non-refundable. We do give our customers the option to roll their reservation over for up to a year without any penalties. Once that reservation rolls over, you forfeit the right to cancel with a refund. Please contact the property for Cancellations or to make any Changes to your Reservation. There are NO REFUNDS for early departures.
All horse camping is in the designated Horse Camping Area. This area is convenient to bathhouses and trails and is a beautiful natural setting for camping.All horses must be accompanied by proof of a negative Coggins test (EIA) conducted within the past (12) months. Documents should clearly identify your horses. State law requires us to refuse admission to horse owners who do not have negative Coggins test (EIA) reports. Health Certificate or Multi-State Passport required for out of state horses.Please do not use the meadow area for horseback riding. You are more than welcome to use the Farmfield (behind the Pinefield) for horseback riding. (Please see park map available in the office.)We ask that our trees be preserved by not tying horses to them. When forced to tie in and around the trees, always cross tie your horses in such a way as to prohibit any damage from chewing and/or pawing by the horse. If a tree is damaged by doing so, you will be assessed a $150.00 charge.We want to continue making our park a safe place for all campers, so please, no rough riding or racing.No horseback riding after Sundown.There is to be no multiple riders on a horse.There is to be no horseback riding on any of the paved roads. However, crossing the paved road to get to the trail is allowed at designated horse crossings.If your horse kicks, you must tie a red ribbon on the horse’s tail.All riders are required to wear a helmet.Trails are marked with signs as to which ones are available for horseback riding. Please be on the lookout for golf carts, hikers, bikes and wildlife.The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park makes every effort to ensure safe trail riding. However, we cannot assume any liability for personal injuries, livestock injuries, or equipment damage.
YOU RIDE THE TRAILS AT YOUR OWN RISK.Equine waste must be cleaned up and deposited in the designated manure disposal sites. A charge of $25.00 will be assessed if we have to clean the campsite area or stalls.We hope that everyone has an enjoyable time during his or her stay at our park. Be sure to pick up a calendar of events from the office.The minimum age limit for riders is ages 12 and over.
